High Performance Light Vehicle Tyre Fitting

 

The IMI QAA course in High Perforrmance Light Vehicle Tyre Fitting is 2 ½  days in duration and aimed at light vehicle tyre fitters wishing to update their skills and knowledge for today’s modern tyre types and designs. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 months practical light vehicle tyre fitting experience and possess good communication skills.

Successful candidates will receive an IMI Quality Approved Award in High Performance Light Vehicle Tyre Fitting.  As well as being recognised throughout the Motor Industry, this qualification will also count as a credit towards the Nationally recognised Technical Certificate in Vehicle Fitting and will satisfy the underpinning knowledge requirements of the Vehicle Fitting NVQ.

Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitting

 

The IMI Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting course is 3 days in duration and aimed at Specialist Tyre Fitters involved with working on commercial vehicles.  Candidates must have a minimum of 3 months practical heavy vehicle tyre fitting experience and possess good communication skills.

 

Successful candidates will receive an IMI Quality Approved Award in Heavy  Vehicle Tyre Fitting.  As well as being recognised throughout the Motor Industry, this qualification will also count as a credit towards the Nationally recognised Technical Certificate in Vehicle Fitting and will satisfy the underpinning knowledge requirements of the Vehicle Fitting NVQ.

Roadside Safety

 

The IMI Road Safety course is 3 days in duration and aimed at Specialist Tyre Fitters involved with working on the roadside.  Candidates must have completed a recognised course in Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting and possess good communication skills.

 

Successful candidates will receive an IMI Quality Approved Award in Roadside Safety.  As well as being recognised throughout the Motor Industry, this qualification will also count as a credit towards the Nationally recognised Technical Certificate in Vehicle Fitting and will satisfy the underpinning knowledge requirements of the Vehicle Fitting NVQ.

Steering & Wheel Alignment

 

The IMI Steering & Wheel Alignment course is 2 1/2 days in duration and aimed at Technicians involved with carrying out light vehicle front wheel alignment.  Candidates must have a minimum of 3 months practical wheel alignment experience and possess good communication skills.

 The IMI Exhaust Fitting course is 2 1/2 days in duration and aimed at Technicians involved with exhaust system replacement.  Candidates must have a minimum of 3 months practical exhaust fitting experience and possess good communication skills.
