Health & Safety for depot fitting staff (IMI QAA accredited)

This is a one day entry level training course aimed at new employees and existing fitting staff. On successful completion, the candidate will receive an IMI awarded QAA certificate.

Health & Safety for managers and supervisors (IMI QAA accredited)

This is a one day training course aimed at depot managers and other personnel who have a greater responsibility within their own workplace for health & safety. On successful completion, the candidate will receive an IMI awarded QAA certificate.

Level 2 Award for Health & Safety in the Workplace

This is a two day training programme suitable for managers and supervisors who wish to gain a level 2 recognised qualification awarded by City & Guilds. Upon completion the candidate will be able to:-

Understand the principles of workplace health & safety
Understand the methods and objectives of risk assessment
Understand accident investigation and reporting
Understand health & safety communications and the environment
Understand common hazards and their controls

Candidates will sit a 1 hour written paper produced and marked by City & Guilds. The qualification is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority at level 2 and is based on the latest National Occupational Standards from ENTO.

Manual Handling (Back in Shape)

Back in Shape^® is a high quality nationwide ergonomics based manual handling training programme developed by COPE’s own expert Ergonomists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Health Physicians and specialists and delivered by our own Cope qualified trainers. Delivered over half a day, this course has both a theory and a practical session. Candidates will all receive a Cope "Back in Shape" booklet to take away.
